Student Life Committee

The Student Affairs division of ASG is here to represent the student body.  We are the committee that meets with administrators to solve the issues on campus concerning student life. See the links to the below for more information on our meetings, how to get involved, The Loop, and the ASG Van. Many of the campus offices that ASG works closely with have their own systems of communicating and receiving feedback from students. While ASG is happy to assist you in any concerns you may have, feel free to check out these resources to report specific problems and find out more about the services that each office offers.

ASG works with many offices on campus to disseminate information, relay student concerns, and provide feedback for current and future plans.Have a question, comment or concern?

GATOR VAN

Driving you where you need to go...

ASG offers a 7-passenger van, free-of-charge, to the College community. The vehicle may only be used for official business or activities. All drivers must possess a Gator License, granted by the Office of Safety & Security. Drivers must abide by all College motor-pool policies, as well as ASG Van policies. Monetary fines may be imposed for infractions of the policies.

Please be advised that Security reserves the right to restrict access to Motor Pool vehicles during inclement weather. If you have any questions about use during this winter season, please email ASG.

If you would like to request use, please fill out a Van Contract (link below) and return it to the Student Affairs mailbox in the ASG Office at least three days before intended use. Any requests received less than three days before the date of intended use are not guaranteed access to the van, regardless of availability. If a last minute need arises, you are advised to submit your contract to the office and also email us of your request so that we can process your request, if possible.

CAMPUS RESOURCES

Technology

All of the computers, printers, internet services, and other technology on campus is managed by the office of Computing Services. Visit the Computing Help Desk for the latest updates on campus technology as well as instructions on using all of the services provided. Have a problem such as a malfunctioning wireless signal or campus computer? Get a solution fast by reporting it to the WebHelp Desk, or call ext. 2755.

Campus Maintenance

Maintenance and upkeep of the campus falls under the responsibilities of Physical Plant. If there is a problem in your residence hall, this should be reported to your RA or CA so that they can submit a work order. If a specific problem exists in an academic building, these problems can be reported to the building secretary.

Dining

Dining services on campus are provided by Parkhurst. Look for paper comment cards at Brooks and McKinley's and for occasional surveys. All of these help Parkhurst to provide the best selection and services. For more information, on dining hall hours and schedules, check out their Allegheny website, or fill out their online comment card.
