Student Life survey is being finalized

If you have anything you want to add, please come see us

2. Major Events Committee Brogan McGowan

The major event is Tegan and Sara

We talked about this last semester, but we exhausted the Top 6 list and were forced to

make a decision using the top genre list

Sam Talerico and Lizzy Donaldson have made awesome stuff

You guys can send out an email informing people of how to get tickets

If you need a response about why we chose Tegan and Sara, please let me know

Lizzy Donaldson

We're going to get links out to you guys to volunteer. You get free tshirts.

Lee Scandinaro

I would like to see an article in The Campus

Brogan

 That's something we're looking into

Timur Dikeç

 In Schafer, or other location?

Brogan

 Yes

Marlys Kotyuk

I know last meet you said that the numbers had changed; how did that happen?

Brogan McGowan

We worked through an agency, concertideas.com, and Panic! at the Disco had us believing we

would be booking them for about two weeks, and during that time the other artists were filling

their schedules for that time period

Austin Cosgrove

And with the music industry, if an artist releases a new single or something that becomes

popular, prices can change very quickly

Eric Chang

Just Tegan and Sara, or other acts too?

Brogan McGowan

We're also looking on an opening act, and once we figure that out we're going to let you guys

know too

3. Diversity Initiatives Committee Katie Beck

My committee, Lee Scandinaro, and Autumn Vogel are doing an information workshop

 1:30, Monday, Quigley

President's Report

 Welcome back, happy Tuesday!

 Attendance is great

 Send out those emails!

Shout out to Yemi, because she already sent out an email and sent it to us

Would like to apologize for that Tippie misunderstanding

1. ASG/AEC Get Together

President Mullen would like to work on that disconnect between students and

administration

In two weeks, we're going to have our meeting in Schultz, and that's going to be with

them

 Hopefully, there will be food

We're doing 5 ASG/AEC get togethers per semester

The first one is on Thursday; Joe Di and Brian Dalton

These are open to anyone; people can just come and ask question

Sloane and I will do some PR, but you guys could really help with that

Some more people: President Mullen, Provost DeMeritt, Aimee Knupsky, etc.

 They're from 68, and they're in here

Vice President's Report

1. Middle States

Rick Holgrim, who is the chief informaitonal person with the college, approached ASG

for more insight about this MiddleStates accreditation assessment

It's really important that we have student representation at these things and that we

have students there to voice their opinions, so hopefully our degrees mean something

 Feburary 17, 2:30 3:15

Please email myself and Kevin if you're interested in doing that

Before that, on Feburary 4th, Rick Holgrim is going to come in and talk to us more about

that

 It's a really big deal

Me, Kevin, and Katie met with the president of another college to learn more about this

process and to hear about what their school is doing

We have room for about five to six students

2. Academic Standards and Awards Committee

They are looking for another person because one of the student representatives is

unable to commit to the time

Class Reports

1. Class of 2015, Shep Schroer

 Welcome back!

The Class of 2015 just got a letter from CHAPS that's thanking us for all of our work, so

that reflects well on ASG in general

Also, Phil is studying abroad this semester and we have an open spot; hopefully, we will

have filled that position

Miguel Liriano

We also have a missing spot, so hopefully we'll have that filled within the next two weeks
