→ 26th
, 6:00 PM(?)
→ Will bring a signup sheet
Garrett
→ Kelly Bolton is coming
→ Energy challenge is down 6-7% from last year
Kush and Sarah
→ Didn't get any replies for people for Jane Ellen
→ Jake will specifically state this in an email
→ It's a talk about secularism on our campus
→ We need two more
→ Do a MyAllegheny post
→ Will meet with Jackie and the Wellness Committee
→ Going to talk about Physical Plant, Tess is going to talk about this
Kevin
→ Sloane's not here, but she updated everything on the website
Aurora
→ Taboo Talk, put a sticky note to maybe share it with their constituents
Brogan
→ Should we remind the senators about Direct Representation...because we're getting the emails too,
and we aren't getting them
Kevin
→ Larry and I can go to their class meetings, have them bring laptops, etc
→ Also, Meeting in the Dark!
Jake
→ Should I take minutes on a pad of paper...?
Kevin
→ Meeting on Gator Day?
No.
Gretchen
→ If we have Finance, we'd have to have an ASG meeting; there's not point in having one but not the
other
Skylar
→ But we lost last week, so there's next week, but the 29th
Jake
→ Just email everyone? MyAllegheny?
Sarah
→ Can't we just do a Doodle?
Kevin and Larry
→ JoeDi wanted to talk about Student Conduct
Kevin
→ The point of not having that meeting would be to open up the Gator Day
→ That whole day would be just for Gator Day
Larry
→ Personally, don't think we should cancel the meeting
→ Finance requests?
→ 7:00 is late enough that it won't
Brogan
→ Even if we just have a meeting for Finance, everybody in this organization signed up
→ Just don't see any point in not meeting
Kevin
→ Austin is looking up the Gator Day schedule
→ Let's talk about Monday!
→ We're gonna go get Ice Cream or something
→ We can still do official stuff, but we're going to go something fun
→ Let's talk about Committees
Gretchen
→ Senior class Attendance?
Kevin
→ Any discussion before we vote?
Katie
→ I'm not gonna be there anyway. It's my comp week. That's my discussion.
is another loss...
Kevin
→ I think that if we just tell all of the clubs, send out an email, a MyAllegheny, whatever, we have
enough time to plan for everything
Kevin
→ Larry and I talked to some people from the Trustee Meeting who want to come to talk to the Senate
Meetings
→ So if you guys talk to any administrators who were at the Trustee meeting, let us know
→ Scheduling President Mullen for November...
→ Also, Sue Gaylor wants us, as a Cabinet, to have dinner at her house sometime
(FYI, Larry fell down the stairs this morning. Something about candy. He's over it.)
Sloane
→ Make a poster for the meeting in the dark
→ It's got leaves on it, and a bunch of new stuff
→ Changed a bunch of fonts
Kevin
→ Let's step back and look at ASG
→ Attendance is something we need to work on
Larry
→ Morale
→ People should be willing to engage in conversation, just knowing that conversation is invalid
Kevin
→ So how do we raise morale?
Sarah
→ Jeoporady!
Larry
→ Is there something we could actually try to tackle? Think of something real
Kevin
→ I think that the tuition raise is real
→ Even though its expected that tuition will raise, that doesn't mean we can't question it
Sloane
→ Getting some tumblrs and magnets made
→ Can we do something fun?
Brogan
→ How often do classes come in to Finance?
Grace
→ 2016 and 2015 have Fall Events, 2017 has a Holiday Event, and 2014 is going bar hopping(?)
Gretchen
→ The events seem a little later, and they all seem like the same idea
Grace
→ We should give them goals for how many events we should have this year, etc
→ As long as you give them some goal to work towards, the rest should follow
Kevin
→ They have those in their folders
Brogan
→ The bylaws don't hold them to any responsibility, but that was the idea of the Ten-Hundred club last
year
Kevin
→ They all know what they're supposed to do
Jake
→ We could throw an event?
→ Camraderie, like how we played Captain's Coming
Sarah
→ OPEN CHAPTER ASG IN THE WISE COURTS
Kevin
→ If we had a shorter meeting agenda
Katie
→ Agree with bonding and positivity, but we should be able to call people out
Kevin
→ Personally, calling people out would get them discouraged
Gretchen
→ There's nothing wrong with generically calling people out
Jake
→ Could we mix somebody up?
Kevin
→ Could we do tables and chairs in the Wise Center?
→ Just sit?
Gretchen
→ Can't do tables or chairs in the Wise Center
Katie
→ If we just sit in a circle, I have tons of little games we could play and such
Meeting End: 1:09
